Tilapia Chopped Steaks

Makes: 4 servings
Cook time: 30 minutes
For the fillet
  • 1 package of Nativ Tilapia Chopped Steaks
  • 1 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. lime peel - grated
  • Salt to taste
For the potatoes
  • ½ kilogram of cooked whole sweet potatoes and then sliced 1.5 cm thick
  • 1 Tbs. butter
  • 1 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic - whole
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Tbs. thyme
For crispy carrots
  • 2 carrots peeled and cut into strips of 6cm
  • 1 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • Salt to taste
For the sauce
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1 Tbs. onion - chopped very well
  • ½ cup filtered water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp. "Cheiro verde" pepper chopped

    Season the fish and marinate for 20 minutes. Put the butter, garlic, and olive oil in a fry pan and heat. Add sweet potatoes and grill for 4 minutes on each side. Flip carefully to not break.
    In another pan place the olive oil, sugar, ginger and grill to golden brown. Add the carrots and sauté. For the sauce, mix all the ingredients listed above and chill for 10 minutes before serving.
    Grill fillets in a hot frying pan for 2 minutes on each side. Serve hot on a large tray or on individual plates.
